Death by Chocolate - The Land of Chocolate

How have I heretofore neglected to post this confectionary go-go pop pleasure? Instant satisfaction. You should listen to this out on the steps and I guarantee all expectations will be be fulfilled.

Faux Pas

Faux Pas - Tim as a Brim

What we have here is a new sample-tronica album from 24 year old Australian Tim Shiel. After two listens, Entropy Begins at Home sunk its talons into my flesh. Energizing ambience is what it is. And it needs to be played in its entirety by you is what it needs. It's available here. And more can be heard over to his myspace page.

Guillemots

Guillemots - Who Left the Lights Off, Baby?

One thing you might want to ask yourself about the picture is: Look at those pants! Guillemots are from England and I like the sound of the drum and the bass guitar. One discerning friend deleted this song the moment the saxophone came on. Decide for yourself and if you like, more music here.

The reason this website wasn't working for a few days is that I'm not good at the internet.

Help She Can't Swim - Cut the Biography

This track starts off with a descending cascade of "orchestra hits" and quickly turns into a high strung dance riot track you might hear on Fluxblog. More songs at their myspace page and official site. Order here.

Tap Tap

Tap Tap - She Doesn't Belong

I keep listening to this song and perhaps you should do the same. Something about the lo-fi-ness of it that really works. I'm guessing the Tap Tap moniker has to do with the rain, based on his myspace page (where there are more songs). There isn't an official Tap Tap page yet but this song appeared on a recent Stolen Recordings compilation and the Tap Tap fellow (on the left) is part of another outfit called Pete & the Pirates. Look for new Tap Tap next month at The Catbirdseat.
