Grant Lee Buffalo - The Whole Shebang

I'm re-excited about this track because of its epic grandeur and Grant Lee Phillips' piercing voice. From the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack.

Good for you, giving Grant his much-deserved attention. I've been listening to him for years and think he's an underrated genius. Unfortunately, he gets little more than the rare play on indie stations.

Check out Grant Lee Phillips' "Mobilize." It's by far the most complete and competent album all the way through. The Grant Lee Buffalo "Storm Hymnal" is a nice 2-disc compilation of all of the Grant Lee Buffalo songs, with one CD a "best of" and the second one having some nice accousitic versions. Also, I don't watch Gilmore Girls, but apparently the producer is fond of him, because he's managed to become some kind of regular wandering character. Or something like that.

Thanks Jimweed! This song is awesome! I love Grant. He's so great. I DO watch Gilmore Girls and he's so fantastic on that show. It's an awesome way to hear his music (you know, different cuz accoustic and he's all singing energized by some lamp post or something).
