Gruff Rhys is the singer and main songwriter for the Super Furry Animals. He just released his first solo album and he sings it all in Welsh. Once someone posted something to the following effect on an internet message board: "Radiohead is SO modernist. The Furries are post-modernist." I thought that was good for an internet laugh in unison.
Now that we've calmed down, I should say that Gruff Rhys, like his band and his tongue, is from Wales. I saw him play for the hometown crowd in Bethesda, Wales a couple years ago. Well, what's not to like.
Although it's against the quota of a usual Leaf & Lime post, I've been convinced that I should post a Super Furry Animals song for reasons of a) context and b) because the Gruff Rhys songs were so short. So, have it:

(this one I had to edit to take out a couple minutes worth of damn end-of-album silence.)
