David Bowie - Loving The Alien

This bit is not one of Bowie's more famous songs but it's pretty epic. Someone good should cover it. It sounds a bit dated production-wise but one of the good things about Bowie's songwriting is that it transcends the production. This is the opening track of the album Tonight which has the song "Blue Jean" and a cover of "God Only Knows." It reminds me of the summer of '85 when I got stitches in my chin.

I would have to agree with Bagger T. Vance on the Beulah breakup. I was stupified when I read the news on their website a few months ago. I had always looked forward to seeing them live, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. They remain one of my most favoritist bands in all the land. May they Rest in Peace. rob

I've been wanting some more David Bowie in my life lately. "ask and ye shall receive". Killer site. I always thought the thread about the House of Leaf and Lime was about a band, so I never read it. Where the hell have I been?
